Laboratory tests

Laboratory tests show that this layer is tooth-like and more stable than layers formed from conventional treatment methods.

If dentin is treated with Nanit®active in vitro, around 80 percent of the previously open dentin tubuli are closed after only three treatments.

After six more applications, this figure increases to 95 percent; and after 20 applications, almost all the dentin tubuli (99 percent) are closed.

Clinical tests

In a clinical study carried out at the Aster-Cephac Institute in Paris, the marked activity
of Nanit®active gel was proven as well as the immediate and long lasting effect of the Nanit®active tooth gel and tooth strip.

In a further clinical study, a Nanit®active toothpaste was tested. Results show an immediate activity (cold air test) and a significant reduction of the pain sensitivity of the teeth after two weeks (tactile test).
